Archbishop John C. Wester invites you to join the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for the next nine days as we pray for peace, not only in Ukraine but throughout our world. Archbishop will be leading days one and nine, and other people throughout New Mexico will be hosting the other seven days. Each day’s intention will be said in English, Spanish, and Ukrainian, and we will end each day with St. Francis' Peace Prayer in Ukrainian. Fr. Román Fihas, a Ukrainian Greek Catholic priest and coordinator of the English-language Distance Learning Master’s Program in Ecumenical Studies at the Ukrainian Catholic University, will join us from Ukraine and lead the Ukrainian intentions and prayer. Please share this with everyone.... "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Please view the article for complete information: Archbishop John C. Wester Announces Revised Protocols for COVID-19 Pandemic Effective February 18, 2022. -- Masks will be optional in church; however, they remain strongly recommended, especially for those over 65, those with medical conditions that make them more vulnerable to the virus, those caring for persons in the previous two categories, and those who are unvaccinated. -- Eucharistic Ministers must wear a mask while distributing Holy Communion. -- The Sunday Mass obligation remains suspended. There is no obligation to attend Sunday Mass in church until further notice. -- Those whose age and/or medical condition render them more vulnerable to the virus are recommended to pray at home on Sunday, preferably taking advantage of live-streamed Masses. -- The Catholic Schools Office has lifted the requirement to wear masks at school. In order to protect students and staff, those exhibiting symptoms will be sent home. -- While there is a definite reduction in the number of COVID-19 cases, we are still in a moment of transition and there is much that we do not know. The faithful are strongly encouraged to observe those protocols that reduce the possibility of infection. It is prudent to err on the side of caution and to be safe rather than sorry. If you are sick, stay home! -- Please continue to pray for those who have contracted the COVID-19 virus and pray for a swift end to the pandemic.-- Click the title of this summary to view the entire article.

The New Mexico Ecumenical Institute for Ministry presents the New Mexico Pilgrimage for Unity. Share gratitude as a pilgrim: Walk, Pray, Give Thanks November 26th - 28th in this Self Designed Pilgrimage in Place. Pilgrimage is about transformation. We walk and pray because deep within we seek an encounter with God to direct our ordinary lives. During Thanksgiving weekend secular culture calls us toward excesses of consumption and competition. In response, Christians from various streams turn in a different direction: away from the noise and toward the silence. We step onto the Pilgrim Path, heading toward the holy, laying out our prayers with every step. Include others or walk alone...walk 1, 2 or all 3 days; shorter or longer distances; consider walking with friends from other faith communities; seek unity. You design your offering of gratitude. 11/26 Pilgrimage Zoom Opening Service 8 am/MT: Reflection by Sr. Hope Rodenborn, The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Clyde, MO 11/28 Pilgrimage Zoom Closing 6:00 pm/MT: Reflection by Rev. Lynne Hinton, Conference Director, New Mexico Conference of Churches Register by clicking this article.
